Introducing video units
AdSense isn't just for ads anymore; it's also a place to get video content for your site -- and earn extra revenue at the same time.
We're excited about the launch of video units -- a new way to enrich your site with quality, relevant video content in an embedded, customizable player. Simply embed a snippet of code and have relevant YouTube partner content streamed to your site. You can choose categories of video to target to your site, select content from individual YouTube partners, or have video automatically targeted to your site content. Companion and text overlay ads are relevant and non-intrusive. To further blend the YouTube player into your site, you can also customize the color scheme and layout as well as choose from three different player sizes.

I love the video unit idea and it is perfect for one of my sites but the size is too large to easily insert in most designs. Will be be given greater choice in the size of the video?
I agree with eyebeat. It would make more sense to have a thumbnail...ok, big toenail-sized display of the video.
Also, I'm trying to find this... Would it be possible to have a video unit that would link only to one of my videos? I'm thinking that it would be a great way to display my own videos on my own website.
We now have partnerships and adsense for australian sites so when can we get players again?

OK here's a bug with Adsense Youtube Video units.
Tonight I created a YouTube account via my Google account so that I could do Adsense all in one place.
YouTube doesn't let you sign in via the usual sign on screen. The end result is when you try to create video units it takes you to your adsense account but won't let you make units until you log onto YouTube.
My YouTube nickname and Google name are different so it won't allow the two to be connected for some reason.

This is very nice, I can't wait to put these video ads on my site.
Video Units are very good idea to promote websites because many people like to see videos. and if they find the links related to their need they will definetly click on the given ads.
Does the page need to have other content or can the video content be the only content on the site? Is it against the program policies to put just the video from youtube (adsense video unit) as the primary content?
i suggest one day google and youtube will lunch turnkey youtube-google adsense blog that we can write a blog and visitor can directy comment the video directly from the site. by the way i still waiting the video unit comes in my country.

I added the feature today and just get a blank screen with videos listed at the bottom and a disabled play button. Is this because they are not available in the UK yet? If so, when will they be - they would make such a valuable contribution to my site!

Video Units is not working. After logging into my Adsense account - then selecting Adsense Setup - then select Video Units - it takes me to my YouTube account page. The "loop" will not allow me to add a video units player.
Have "they" stopped offering this? I am in the USA and my Adsense Account is about 3 years old......What is the issue? Does anyone know why it isn't working?

I have the code via youtube and had it placed on my website. My site was built in central america
because the designer is on vacation. The video unit is diaplaying in spanish instead of english. What do i do?
i'm having the same endless loop issue where i've properly linked adsense to a youtube account, yet i don't have the "customize video unit player" button, just an endless loop, are video units gone?
sorry, my fault, i had linked my youtube account to adsense for video units long, long ago, a few days ago, i tried to create ad units for the first time and created a NEW youtube account, linked it to adsense and had the endless loop problem with the NEWLY created youtube account!

he tell bellow reasons......
--un acceptable content.
--pagetype
-incorrect postal address.
so pls tell me how to prepare a blog with new content for get adsence acccount for blogs.
